This weekend we went to my sisters house. You have heard my talk about her blog before,

I love Pretty Little Things.

It was a fun filled weekend.

This is my son Jonah with my sisters dog Junie, they are very good friends. I even think they look like cousins.

We celebrated birthdays!!!

This is my handsome nephew with my mom and with me.

We enjoyed all the wildlife in her back yard.

My family left after the weekend and I was able to stay for some fun girl time!

We went shopping for fabric at a very fun fabric store.

And started a little project.

Then we took our mom for her birthday for a pedi .

It was her very first one ever and she loved it.

I am so blessed to have such a wonderful mom and sister.

It was very hard to leave those two.

I am so thankful for those few days we were able to spend together!!!

Just when I was starting to save some money after stocking up on the Simply Shabby Chic collection they come up with another fabulous line!!!

I love the bright colors, they make me happy!!

BIRD LOVER

I am a bird lover!!

There is no sweeter music to my ears in the spring than when all the birds come back!

I have a little collection of birds in my house.

I find them very charming.

So you can only imagine my excitement when I came across these little beauties!!!

Now I do have to say that as much as I love these little creatures I don't have any apparel with them on it. But when I found this little pair I could not resists!!!!

I love the colors.

I love the pictures.

I Love that it is made out of oilcloth!

As you can see I am very happy with my little purchase.

I will be happily toting these little birdies around all summer long!!

Last weekend I went to my sisters house. She is the one in I LOVE PRETTY LITTLE THINGS the middle. The lovely ladies next to her are my sweet cousins!

This is the gang who came to visit my mom(the queen) she is the cute lady in the hat sitting in the middle.

Because of health issues she is now living with my sister. So we decided to have a girls weekend. My four cousins stayed with us.

And let me tell you did we have fun. I felt like I was 12 again we laughed and we cried. We ate alot ! and stayed up all hours of the night watching movies and talking to the wee morning hours.

And we shopped. This little store is one of my favorites. THE RUSTY RABBIT Whenever I come to visit I always make sure to visit this charming little store.

It was a wonderful weekend full of great memories, laughter and love!

Ahhhh the beauty of spring.

I love spring time. I love the colors the smells and the newness of life it brings.

I love decorating for Easter and spring. I usually go way overboard but we have been showing our house to sell so I have decided to pare down this year.

I love this little bird candle I found at T.J maxx. I really need to stay out of that store!

I brought out some of my favorite spring decor. I love this wreath, I could leave it out all year long.

I also have a thing for eggs!

Now I am going to go and enjoy this beautiful spring day, since we are suppose to have snow flurries this weekend. Yuck!!
