Friday Pretties

Hello everyone,it is so good to be back. I have been out for a week, down for the count. The treatment I have been getting for my cancer kicked in which is good but also very bad. You see those things in our body called white blood cells are very important and I always took mine for granted, until last week when my were no longer in my body taking care of things in there, and let me tell you I really missed those little guys and I am so happy that there have returned. So now that I am feeling much better I so am happy to be able to blog again. Thank you so much for all of your sweet comments and prayers.

Make sure to stop by I love pretty little things for more Friday pretties.

Cantigny

Our family loves to take a day trip to a wonderful place called Cantigny.
It was owned by the McCormick family. This is there mansion.

I am trying to soak up time with my boys. Our 19 year old daughter does not make it on these little day trips very often. She is very busy. Time goes so fast when they are little, you feel like those days will last forever then you close your eyes for a minute and they are gone.

There are very beautiful gardens all through the property.

The boys could care less about the mansion or the beautiful gardens, but they are all about the army tanks.

These are my cool military men.

They also love the WWII museum

We had a great day. I am so thankful for great days.

Cantigny is located in Wheaton IL. So if you are in the Chicago land area check it out. It is 5.00 a car. It is a fun and inexpensive outing.
