Today my friends is a day for celebrating life!!!

It is so easy to take life for granted I know , because I did until last May when i was diagnosed with a rare for of a uterine sarcoma cancer. All of the sudden after one phone call my life was changed. I no longer took life for granted.
It has been a scary journey. But would I take back this part of my story in my life? Never.
God has taught me so much. I have learned to know and trust him so much. I have watched him work in my life and the life of my family. Is it hard, absolutely but he is always there carrying me through!!! He is more real to me that he has ever been.

Yesterday was my last day of chemotherapy. I also had a clear mri. Which I am so thankful for. Is this journey over? No. I will have to be scanned every three month for 2 years then every 6 months for 3 more years but right now I am celebrating . No more chemo or scans for three month.
For all of you out there who have been praying for me thank you!!!!
God hears our prayers!!!

Imagine yourself as a living house. God comes in to rebuild that house. At first, perhaps, you can understand what He is doing. He is getting the drains right and stopping the leaks in the roof and so on; you knew that those jobs needed doing and so you are not surprised. But presently He starts knocking the house about in a way that hurts abominably and does not seem to make any sense. What on earth is He up to? The explanation is that He is building quite a different house from the one you thought of - throwing out a new wing here, putting on an extra floor there, running up towers, making courtyards. You thought you were being made into a decent little cottage: but He is building a palace. He intends to come and live in it Himself.

Rainy Saturday morning

This morning i was woke up at 5:30 to my husband leaving for his drill weekend for the reserves and rain.

I covered my head and went back to sleep to be woke up by my 13 year old at 8:00 telling me he had Basketball practice at 8:30. So my 9 year old Luke and I climbed out of bed and took Jonah to B-ball practice.

Then we came home and Luke snuggled in my bed to watch How to train your dragon.
(very cute movie)

I decided i would make cinnamon rolls.

I should have had just one but they are so yummy with coffee I had to have two!

Then i joined Luke and my computer in my bed. I think I could stay here all day.

To bad I have to pick up Jonah in an hour.

Yesterday was my husbands birthday. We ordered in Chinese ,ate cheesecake and watched movies. Last year he was in Afghanistan for his birthday. I am so thankful he is home safe and sound with us!!!

I have managed to get some fall decor out the last couple weeks

I have had so much going on the last couple of weeks that I didn't know if it was going to happen.

I am thankful that I am feeling up to it. If you read my blog you know I have been going through chemo. I am happy to say next Mon. is my last one!!!!!!!

Going through this trial in my life I realize how much I take for granted in life.
Like being able to decorate for fall without even thinking about feeling tired or weak.

Even though I do not have the physical strength I had 5 months ago, I am stronger than ever. God has carried my family and i through this trial and has given me the strength to endure.

Make sure you take time to enjoy the beautiful fall colors.

I have decorated my with some white pumkins.

And I couldn't get away without some orange pumpkins.

Make sure to visit
