school play, mothers day, and frost.

May 16th

Last week my son Luke was is a play at school.

He played Henry Hyena.

He did a great job.

Here are a few pictures of my mothers day.

My mother-in-law and my daughter.

Now that it is the middle of May

I thought maybe I was safe to buy some annuals

but I was wrong,

we have a frost warning tonight.

So all the flowers had to come in the house.

I should know that spring doesn't come until late May

here in the midwest.

Sorry I haven't blogged for a while

I have been trying to ease my way back into life after vacation.

For mothers day my sons class

put on a mothers day tea.

It was at a Blumen gardens a local nursery that

I love .

We were treated like queens.

We were served tea, scones, and yummy cupcakes.

 And then we were presented with a beautiful

letter from our child to us.

It  was a very special day 

with a very special boy
