garage sale treasures

Last weekend I went garage sale-ing

and i am so glad that i did

 I found so many treasures

 and after having one of my own

i had a little cash to spend!

 This is my favorite find.

I love it!

 I don't know where i am going to put it,

but i am sure i will find a perfect spot.

weekend projects

i wanted to show you all a few random projects

i did over the weekend.

i made a little banner for my wreath.

i also bought this wicker basket 

at target.

Brought out the old glue gun,

 and some fabric from my stash

 and made this.

 Easy

and it was already lined.

 i have been looking for one but 

couldn't find one that i liked that fit in my budget.

 So when i found this old dresser 

at a garage sale for $10.00

i

I knew it would be perfect for my 

planting needs. 

 it has great storage

 And oh so much more charm than 

the potting tables I've seen.

 I also brought out an old ladder 

to hang my burlap on

Friday Pretties Garage sale days

Here are a few pics of my garage sale.

 

I Have not done this for years.

I always donate my stuff to good will.

So when a friend of mine wanted to have one at my house I was a little leery.

But I have to say

it has been a lot of fun.

Don't get me wrong

it has been a ton of work!

But it feels like an old fashion type of summer thing to do.

Neighbors stop by,

Friends come over

The kids have a hot dog stand,

And I have meet some really great people.

All while getting rid of things I don't need,

and making a little extra cash!

I'm sold i, will be doing this again!
