The market.

I have been a busy girl latley.

I have been painting and getting ready for the
Na-Da farm event.

And I decided to try out t
The Market
In the little town of
Rochelle IL.
It is such a great space.
And it was so much fun!
I was able to meet so many nice people
Julie, who runs it has such a great vision  of what she wants this
market to be.
If you live in the Northeren Il.
area make sure you check it out.

The Market place is open every Saturday.
I am going to try to be there for a lot of them.

Now I am off to paint.
Make sure to visit

Flea market yummy's

Last weekend I made it to the flea market.

I could only spend a couple of hours there,
but I sure found some treasures in that small
amount of time.

I love this pretty girl,
I went back and forth whether she
needed to come home with me.
The price was a little high,
But I think she was worth it!

I also picked up these pretty blue bottles .
I added some lavender and some pretty ribbon.

Here's my door I found.
It was going to go in my booth
but I decided it needed to spend some time at
my house first.

I just love these old drawers to store things in.
I added a crystal for a little more charm.

I almost didn't go to that day,
with so little time,
But i'm sure glad I did.

Today I am linking up with
furniture Friday

I have had these cute little
side tables for a while.
I needed to get them out of my garage
and into my booth.

 I painted them with
Anne Sloans chalk paint.
 I love this paint.
It is so easy to use,
And the colors are to die for.
There are so many to choose from,
but one of my favorites is
Duke egg blue.
I use it all the time.
The hutch above was painted in it by my friend
Laura
who has a booth in
Carters Cottage with me.
Love it!!!!

And this beauty was painted by
The owner of Carters Cottage.
Christie carries Anne Sloan paint.
It can be very addicting .
Once you use it you will be hooked.
Make sure to hop on over to
For more great furniture
makeovers.
