Weekend projects

Here are a few projects I worked on last weekend.

Since I didn't make it to the flea market
I decided to be productive.

I am trying to be organized  and get all of my furniture ready
before the next Kane county flea market.
I am going to have a booth there with the girls from

I don't work well under pressure.

So my goal is to paint 2 to 3 pieces a week.

This little table was painted with
Antibes mixed with pure white in Anne Sloan chalk paint.
I love how the color turned out.
I then distressed it and added some dark wax to it.

I found the white lamp on clearance a Target.

This little bench came from my moms house.
It was already a pretty green with a quilted top, but very old
and pretty dirty. so I cleaned it up
added some old white paint over it,
and covered the cushion in the
Simply shabby chic curtain I just bought.

I love how bright and springy they both are.

I really want to make some pillows out of this fabric.

I will post more furniture re dos soon.

Both pieces are adorable! Do you know what building you'll be in at the flea market?

Both pieces are lovely! The green is just so fresh, and white is always lovely especially with the great fabric. Your plan to paint on a bit of a schedule is probably a good idea too. I am off to see more of your blog now.
